This anaerobic natural coffee is from the Gedeb district in the southeastern part of Ethiopia. This lies district within the well known growing region of Yirgacheffe, and shares many of the same qualities. This area also boasts a high growing elevation, for this coffee in particular, 2,000-2,200 masl(meters above sea level). A floral aroma and fruity flavor reflect the region of this coffee, while notes of sangria and tropical fruit are a result of the anaerobic fermentation process. Processed at the Worka Sakaro washing station in the same area, this coffee is juicy, complex, and a wonderful representation of the incredible coffees available from African growing regions.
